Annual Appeal of the National Association of the Catechesis of Good Shepherd

The Annual Appeal is a campaign that funds the work of the National Association of the Catechesis of Good Shepherd.

The work of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd is to nurture in faith the gift of knowing in a child.
Approximately over 2500 catechists share time, space, scripture, prayer, song, joy, and hope with children in atria throughout the United States. The National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd supports their efforts.

The Association provides support for over 100 formation courses, sponsors national courses, holds conferences for catechists and formation leaders, works on the publication of materials to support the work of catechists, and nurtures its members through ongoing communication by letter, journal, internet and phone. The mission we keep in front of us: to grow in understanding of the religious potential of the child.

Your support of our Annual Appeal will enable us to continue our work with formation leaders and catechists who provide the time and space to foster the gift of knowing in children in 49 states and 16 countries. Please help us nurture this gift by making a generous donation to the national association’s Annual Appeal. We thank you, along with the children, for your support.

"If we want to help the child draw nearer to God, we should with patience and courage seek to go always closer to the vital nucleus of things. This requires study and prayer. The child will be our teacher if we know how to observe."
