This conference organized by The Center for Children and Theology, is based on a model of collegial sharing and gives catechists an opportunity to share experiences related to Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
The Call for Presenters deadline has been extended to March 23. Experienced catechists are asked to consider presenting areas of expertise that may enhance the CGS community. Past presenters have called on their varied skills in dance, art or music; serving children with disabilities or with special needs; in theology, Scripture, or liturgy; integrating children into the Sunday liturgy; implementing the Montessori method; or using CGS to serve adults or youth. Please send your proposals by March 23, 2012 to oona@cctheo.org. Include your full name, mailing address, email address, daytime phone number, denomination, years of atrium experience, topic, format, and brief description of work to be shared. Within a month of the deadline, applicants will be notified about their inclusion in the conference.
