Tina Lillig, our beloved National Director, suffered a massive stroke Friday, December 11, and passed into the heavenly fold of the Good Shepherd early Sunday morning, December 13. Tina impacted countless lives with her loving care. She devotedly served as our National Director for fourteen years with wisdom and grace. She fully gave of her gifts and skills to further the work of Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in this country and the international CGS community as well. She was a vital branch on the True Vine who knew the joy of first remaining and then of bearing fruit. How full of gratitude we are for her and what she has done in service to God. How grateful we are for her friendship and the wonderful ways she mentored so many over the years. She will be deeply missed. May her life be an inspiration to all of us who seek to love and serve the Lord with abounding joyful purpose.

"If we want to help the child draw nearer to God, we should with patience and courage seek to go always closer to the vital nucleus of things. This requires study and prayer. The child will be our teacher if we know how to observe."
