I Am The Good Shepherd Workbook Year 2

CGSUSA is happy to announce that Year Two of the I Am the Good Shepherd book series, the Catechist Guide and the Child’s Workbook, is available for sale to CGS catechists and formation leaders. The Year Two books are designed for seven- to eight-year-old children.  Catechists will need to have received CGS catechist formation at least through Level I to access the Year Two books. It is also recommended for the catechist to have had some or all of Level II catechist formation. The content of the Year Two books is largely the Level II themes received in catechist formation.  In addition, since these books will need to be used by catechists with children who do not have access to a Level II atrium, those who purchase the books are invited to join CGSUSA in a pilot study to receive an orientation about the books and share experiences in using the books with children. Little or no materials will be needed.

Year 1 addresses key themes found in the Level I atrium but is written for the religious needs, capacities, and skills of six to seven-year-old children.  Children will need to have early reading and writing skills.
